Cantine Colosi
Sicilia Nero d'Avola
Lots of oak. Heavy on the nose, fairly stinky. Pallet is tart cherry, but nothing exciting. Need food, very typical.

Feb 16th, 2014A nice little everyday siciliano. Dry with a strawberry start and crisp/clean finish. Good pizza and racklett wine

Aug 12th, 2014It's a good wine. Not enough body or rounded for me. A bitter fruit taste - cherries and strawberries. Bitter but not acidic. Would be paired great with a nice Italian cheese. If could find for under $10, I would buy again, but you're not impressing anyone with this find.
