Cantine Buglioni
Il Valpolicella Classico Corvina Blend
Ok..... It's a nice wine..... For $10 dollars...... Unfortunately it's $20. It has a decent nose but the alcohol is very apparent. The acid level is there but not overpower, like a nice ripe cherry. (I do enjoy seeing all the sediment in the decanter, seems to improve the texture.). Unfortunately the finish is pretty short and the wine is one dimensional. Nice with our pasta but not worth the money.

Nov 2nd, 2014Very...very...very... Sweet. I do not think the secondary fermentation ever took off. A bowl of fruit on the nose, with some more complex smells of rhubarb and anise. Cloyingly sweet and raisiny on the palate.
