I love CDP, love it..... having said that, while this one is delicious, it is lacking some of the funkiness.... some of the odd character that for me separates ordinary cote du Rhones from CDP. I have had quite a few villages that are better and cheaper than this CDP — 7 years ago
A wine that is a bit odd on the nose, tried to ID it blind.... no chance. Certainly has the new world oak and fruitiness on the nose, French oak. Worth trying if you have never had this varietal. — 7 years ago
Nice big bold blend. Lacking some balance to be great. — 7 years ago

A nice and smooth, easy drinking white. I was expecting more dry and acidic from Italy. Almost tasted too subdued. — 7 years ago

Great after opening up in the glass, could have used a decanter but a nice red wine. Big cherry and plum fruit, interesting nose and nice mouthfeel. — 7 years ago
I love German wine. They make the best white wine, why not continue and make the best Rose..... — 7 years ago
I really wanted to enjoy this wine, as I love the Wagner family, but I really didn't enjoy it as an aperitif. The wine tastes too.... artificial... too tampered with and watered down. A nice level of acid (could even use more) but then a sweetness that tastes like it comes from Splenda or stevia. Would try again with well seasoned fish or Asian. — 7 years ago

Fantastic nose..... I would give the nose a ten all day long. Lots of fruit and spice on the pallet, a nice wine overall. — 7 years ago
