Casalino Chianti Classico

first sip all i got was the oakiness - like i could TELL she was barreled for a while
the more i sipped, the more i enjoyed. it’s VERY complex, looks like fake blood (a deeeep red color that’s a bit clearer)
cherry notes (+ red currant?), dry, apparently smooth

Leather and soy sauce notes

Smell: strong hints of burnt wood and leather, with some prune. Does not do justice to the taste. Strong smell not enough taste.
Taste: very strong hints of raspberry with some hints of cherry. Very dry, though it is complimentary in the levels of acids and tannins.
Appearance: clear liquid with a medium-intense garnet color.

medium bodied, dry on the taste, very earthy smell and taste, slightly leathery

I like it but it’s not my favorite. Earthy and smooth but the flavors are confusing me a bit. Tastes like cherries but also kind of like leather.

Intense red fruit combo w earth, soily, focused
Taste: very light body super dry, some acidity, not overly tart
