As part of my birthday celebrations, I had dinner with @nomief at Jamie’s Italian in the Perth CBD. It was my first Jamie’s experience and I loved it! It also helped that on Monday nights they do pizza and pasta mains for a mere $10. Our wine bill was more than double the food 🤣
Naturally we opted for an Italian wine with our pizza. This bottle of Chianti was $55. It’s made from the Sangiovese grape and the menu described it as ‘Dry with soft tannins & wild blackberry’. Here’s what we thought..
It’s a ruby red colour in the glass. With black plums, savoury spice and blackberry tarte tartin on the nose. In the mouth it’s über juicy and smooth. So smooth in fact that it got us remincisng about Michael Jackson 👨🏻🎤 Monday night wine and food done right ✅
All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy! #tcweekdaywine #tctastingnotes
