Killer nose. Deep purple fruits, spice and lovely minerality. Palate is concentrated. High toned with terrific grip and minerality. Lovely purity. Great length. Stupid good for a dolcetto. Awesome ripe tannins. Super pure. Wow. Sappy.

Best Dolcetto I’ve had in at least a dozen years or maybe longer. Fresh nose shows violets, blueberry pie, and crushed rock. Intense upfront fruit yet bone dry, it has some mouth-coating but soft tannin in the finish. And terrific wine for an informal pasta dinner.

Have not had this since August 2017 and it’s as good as I remember. Bold nose of flowers, black grapey fruit and very mineral. Really compelling aromas. So juicy with terrific acidity and freshness. Lovely purity and good gritty yet clean and refined tannins. Spicey peppery finish. Great stuff.
