One of the most preposterous Barolo values of my career. Stunning nose of gorgeous, vivid roses, insane roses, wow this has opened up. Just a sick sick Barolo nose. Licorice. Cherry flower. Palate is juicy, dense, complex and young. Darker cherries on the palate. Fresh, energetic and very vibrant with a substantial and deep structure. A bit young with toothsome tannin but what a wine and value. So pure.

Really a lovely Barolo. Have been waiting to try this one - glad I have more, but honestly drinking quite well now. Nice dark cherry. Tannins are still very much there, but tamed by a nice prime strip steak. Great acid on the long finish.
