It's really really Italian. Not the Italy for snobs or people who prefer French wines (me)....but the real Italy. Drink it, you'll like it.

Wow. Back at the barn milking cows. Strong pungent smell and taste. But like it!! Balanced it with an earthy chocolate fruit kinda cake. I think there are some dark tangy fruits simmering through. It's an experience!!

$13, lots of points. What could go wrong ? Nothing until you drink it.

Nose is just odd. Just all over the place.

Palate is stewed fruits. Cinnamon? Water-like texture. Barely drinkable.

This one is fun. Smells like cherry paint funk. In a pleasant way. Tastes like cherry and acid and something really special. Earthy and tart. Worth tasting again.

Lots of funk! Notes of ripe cherries, Italian seasoning, fig, and blue cheese. An interesting wine to try!

This is a great value Italian red. Let it breathe and then soak it it. Had with pizza, cause, yeah.

Less rock 'n roll than the 2007. More structured, still integrating. Great little wine from a consistently good co-op. Always good to support Southern Italy.
