Le Bombarde Cannonau di Sardegna

It’s kinda simple, yet free of faults, just not the greatest example of Sardinian Cannonau

Barnyard, soft red cherries , faint dust nose. Warm feelings with all the sniffs. Bright red fruit on the tongue. Lighter granche, very cool!

I've had this wine before. Originally I had the wine from Malta where my sister lives so I went to the wine store and this is what was comparable. This wine is made from the Cannonau grape (Grenache). Slightly tannic, medium bodied, deep red in color This is one of my favorite go to wines.

Medium bodied wine, light taste and good after whipping up 3 casseroles for breakfast tomorrow!

How many ways are there to spell Grenache? Add Cannonau to to the list. Killer deal at $16

(*) one smell and you'll learn what "barnyard"means. On the palate, it's an innocuous, simple glugger of red fruit and not much else. But perfect for a sunny day #glouglou
