Maybe it was the spot (Tessa in NYC) maybe it was the company (my wife and buddies Kelly and Andy) or maybe it was being excited about seeing The Mavericks at the Beacon but by popular acclaim we loved this Umbrian. Good fruit forward with a hint of minerality but really long on first and second effects. So heck, we got three. Luckily the restaurant was next to the show and the Mav's delivered.
