After almost five hours decanted, this is showing nicely. Intense dark fruits and a bit of honeysuckle up front, followed by relatively soft tannins and herbal qualities on the wash: chamomile and a bit of mint. The nose is still slightly hard, but by no means unpleasant- raspberry, forest floor, camphor, and even a bit of citrus for me. Certainly ready now.
