The lighter side of Aglianico, which I think is much underrated. Fresh, bright fruits, tannins still firm. Dusty, balsamic fruit character. Definitely natty - there's an bit of acetic acid character that sours the wine a bit.

Great wine, though a fleshier, plumper style than the the aglianicos I'm used to.

Best Aglianico I've had -- fresher style, nice fruit with good structure clocking in at 12.5%

Some slight VA, but not overly so. Funky, spicy, light on its feet for aglianico. Enjoyed it

Floral and earthy on the nose. Lightly sedimented, cloudy purple wine with notes of red and black licorice wafting out of my glass. On the palate it's got high acidity and lots of floral notes, rounded out by a mushroomy earthiness, clay and violets. Great at the price.
