Sagrantino di Montefalco

Wow! Expecting big tannins and got ‘em. But the acidity and flavor to match. More wow! Deep garnet with dried black fruit on the nose. Rich, lush, thick tannins with chocolate, leather, tobacco, flavors all in harmony. This was an absolutely amazing Sagrantino in its prime. Love, love, love.

Excellent with our steak! Tannins were in check.

Anise cigar box, dried rose. Animalistic. Bordering between red and black fruit. Palette: dangerous at 15%, very elegant red. Structure: sagrantino is a sick varietal. Gonna be amazing with so many foods!
