An odd wine. Not a bad one by any means. But they used a glass cork and the result - possibly connected to the glass, possibly not - is a wine rich in red fruit and flowers, but a little low on the dirty character of great Piemonte wine.

Deep cherry, soft rose in background, base of light tar, nice acidity, firm mouthfeel, but gives, too. Sip, smile, repeat.
