Gifted to me because of the beautiful label. Was a decent taste, not spectacular. Used part of it for sipping, used some also for cooking in a recipe that called for a ‘fruity red’. Not a go to for the future, but wouldn’t turn it down.

Wonderful mouthfeel, full and silky, that greatly surpasses the flavor. Nothing exceptional here, neither good nor bad, just there.

Ashy oak, not unpleasant, but odd. The glass I had could have used a little chilling. Red wines should not be served at room temperature. A little bit of chill does wonders for all, especially ones like this, which is not stellar
