Beautiful wine. 2018 drink now! Sublime nose, full of fruit but taste is drier than we thought it would be. Little hints of vanilla but not too much. Fruit forward but transitions throughout the evening.

Jul 1st, 2018I had been worried it was going to be huge with tons of dark fruit. Instead it was fairly elegant, acidic, tannic, and expressive of its fruit. Pugnitello and Sangiovese. Really enjoyed it with steak!

One of my faves, always. Wonderful blend of pugnitello & sangiovese. Bold but not too much, berry, hint of licorice...heavenly.

Super Tuscan. 2010. Earthy nose. Tons of earth. Only 3000 bottles made from vintage. Plums and rhubarb. Great texture. Finishes dry. Only 90 bottles left!

Aug 22nd, 2016I suspect this is a super Tuscan, but it was a great finish to the evening. Really solid acidity balanced out the robust plum and inky thickness of this wine. 2010. 15% also, which is kinda crazy.
