Had it...felt alive with the fruits still showing and acid still bringing my salmon sashimi to light...bliss

Tried this as part of Claire’s blind taste test night. I thought it smelled earthy/oaky/vanilla-y. It seemed slightly more sweet than some of the others; less acidic. It seemed medium bodied with a lighter mouthfeel—it seemed waterier than some of the others. The tannins seemed low to me. It had a nice finish.

Delicious Spanish red (Tempranillo grapes). I usually don’t like leather and oak (like Chianti) much but this is really good. Dry, good flavor, and nice with my pasta. 13.5% alc by vol. Lighter than my other Southern European favorites. $13.
