Campo de Borja
Paso Del Tiempo Garnacha
Delightful, fruity, but balanced with tannic complexity - and more layers revealed after even a few minutes decanting. Second day even better, but again, needed to open up a bit in the glass.

Jan 8th, 2018Very fruity notes to the nose with a focus on blackberries. It is very light initially sipping with a very light finish. It has a great fruity taste to it with notes of cherries and currants. There is a bitterness to it that gives it some complexity but it can be somewhat unwelcomed in some sips. It may be because I am drinking this 2015 in 2017 or because it has been opened and refrigerated. Nonetheless, it is a good wine that could have potentially been great under the right conditions. I only wish I had another bottle to test but still worth drinking if available.
