Good body, extract, moderate tannins on finish. Citric cherry aftertaste. After an hour, flavors resolve into barrel smoke and black cherry stone.

This is a user-friendly wine. 40% Grenache, 30% each Syrah and Mourvèdre. Pure ripe, dark berry fruit; fragrant baking spices, whiffs of high-toned wood smoke. Soft and mouthfilling, but not jammy or out of balance. Some soft tannin, it carries its 14.5% well.
