Possibly the best domestic Rose I've had. Take it with a grain of salt and the fact that it's 100 outside I suppose.

Beautiful day for a Rose. Orangey pink and very clear. Lush red fruits on the nose, covered with strawberries and slight undertones of citrus. Very refreshing. Slightly savory and woody as soon as it was opened. After breathing for a few minutes there was some dark chocolate notes. Low tannins (4,5/10) with moderate, and crisp acidity. Moderate body and slightly dry moderate finish. Very interesting Rose, started out with some white wine characteristics (crisp acidity) and developed red wine characteristics (tannins and body). Drink till 2020.

Case buy and an incredible value play! Rivals the 2015 vintage (may even be better); full of fresh, vibrant watermelon and strawberry; a nice spice zing on the nose that translates on the back palate that adds a nice depth; this is bold yet delicate and beautiful. Very well done!

First time buying at Saint Helena Wine Center and asked for a recommendation for a pairing with hardy vegetable pasta and was given this to taste. Perfect, herbal, and just a bit of spice. I loved it and can't wait to get more :)
