Fantastic. While only 13% al, it was big, bold, and balanced. Ripe fruit, bold tannins, nice acidity. Great alone or w food. Definitely buy again. A huge bargain at $21.

So interesting! The nose is herbal and dried and reminds me of potpourri. There’s a faint hint of rubber that you often find in Pugliese wine. The body is medium, with less tannin than I’m used to from the style, but still present. Maybe even a little pepper? This is really lovely.

Aglianico del Vulture in purezza. Irriconoscibile. Buonissimo.

Fruity notes but not too acidic - smooth with a clean tart finish.

Very good wine. Very fruity.
