Medium bodied with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with bonfire smoke, blueberries, blackberries, plums, wood (fake), currants, light vegetables, chocolates, bacon, spices and black pepper.
Short spicy finish with medium minus tannins and raspberries.
This is a drinkable Cabernet from California. Simple, but not intrusive. I've had much worse.
Nice mouthfeel with an interesting smoky feel. Good right out of the bottle and better as it opens up.
Good as a happy hour red wine. Nothing more than that.
