Those “”Frenchies” know how to do Granach. This wine is the epitome of what I would eat a pulled pork barbecue sandwich with. It is so hard to pair any barbecue sauce ( especially one that is a little sweet) this is a match made in heaven

Robust Grenache blend. Deep, dark and inky wine. Notes of stewed prunes, black cherries with notes of damp wood. Well balanced fruit, relaxed tannins, nice spice, medium complexity with a nice finish. Firm acidity; will pair well with roasted meats and a variety of cheeses.

Wow! Decanted this purchase from Last Bottle & given comments on 2008, let is sit for an hour. I had it with manchengo cheese & crudite with spicy hummus & olives. Beautiful aroma & juicy spicy notes. I'd still cellar for a couple of years to see how it develops... I'm sorry I didn't buy a case!
