The 2012 Calista Coast Range Pinot Noir is deep ruby red in color with aromatics of dried cherries, rose petal, violet and roasted coffee bean. Rhubarb, cherry and notes of cranberry flow through the palate to a balanced and lengthy finish of mixed dark fruit and black tea.

Pours berry in color. Very translucent. Aromas of cherry and strawberry and cinnamon. Strawberry carries over into the flavor with a little earth. Light bodied with a short finish.

I think past it’s prime but was drinkable. Would try it again but not crazy about it

Light, plum flavored, pairs well with creamy cheese and fruity jam.

Drank 2012 vintage in December, 2017. Despite the just OK reviews, I enjoyed this very much. Dark berries and herbs on the nose. Black raspberrry and currant up front, then some cranberry and cocoa mid pallet, some violet too. Mocha and a little peppery bite on the medium finish. Not much for tannins. Tastes fresh for its age. It's interesting and atypical. Totally buy again.

Not a fan of this Pinot. A 2012 vintage should be much more refined an smooth. Bought at Costco.

Initial faint floral scent quickly gave away to nose of olive, smoke, and white pepper almost reminiscing about northern Rhone. Not much fruit here, but still possess bright acidity. Oak is well integrated. Great value!
