Decanted 3 bottles for 2+ hrs. Super silky, fruit still fresh and vibrant. Winner, if you can find it.

Beautiful nose of plum, anise, and raspberry. In the mouth it is silky and well balanced. A nice acid finish. This is a sultry Pinot that has matured well but still tastes vibrant.

Number 2, Pinot Posse 2016. Bigger fruit, cherries, black pepper, silky texture, less structure than the 1997 Montille but still a nice long finish. Very nice.
