One of the best from Calera I have tasted. Stunning and perfectly balanced. Calera should be more famous for Chardonnay.

I'm usually in the ABC camp, but this one doesn't overplay it's hand. Oak, yes, but under control. Just ripe enough. Well done.

Calera - Chardonnay - Mt Harlan - 2012 - light body and well balanced - Aromas/Flavors: Apple/ pears - I love the freshness of this wine all the way to the finish.

Big, burly chard. Balanced though. Love this winery.

More oak than expected, but not too much.

A little cold right now, but pretty damn good. A tad bit ripe. Will update rating later.

Fresh and vibrant. Tastes great with bacon. But then again, what doesn't?
