Classic cali pinot ...very fruit forward, red fruits, little bit darker in color than expected, jammy, high alcohol (14.7), med plus acid, med tannins, mod new oak , french, which was very pleasing with the amount of alcohol. Licorice and cola. Its what I expected for cali pinot...fun blind!

Darkest Pinot I have ever encountered, intense, extremely tannic, very big and concentrated. Surprisingly Nebbiolo like, but very good, I bet Nebbiolo would do well at this vyd!

Opened in honor of Josh Jenson. Unfortunately this one was very ripe, almost port-like, with a distinct alcohol burn.

The namesake of my brother, this was my first sampling of the Ryan Vineyard. It was outstanding! Through August, this is easily in my top 3 bottles so far this year!
