2019 vintage. Absolute fave American pinot noir with a bullet. Something was off. Wine wasn't obviously corked or cooked but was muted and only showing a baking spices side (cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg, et al) that it usually doesn't. Out of respect for the vineyard, historical efforts (my devoted tasting involvement since the 1987 vintage) and producer, not rating this go-round and will look to try another bottle in the near future. Tried to coax things along over the course of 2.5 hours without success. 11.30.24.
