Tell me about cool climate Pinot Noir once again? It's such a mysterious and contradictory grape type. Delicious.

This is amazing! You see a stranger on the side of the road who pick him up, this is telling stories right out the gate want to know he's going, it has all the nice signs lovely thanks Josh

Wet leaves, spice, vanilla, ripe red fruit, strawberry, raspberry and dried herbs. M+ acid, round tannin. A little bitter on the palate but balanced.

Used to think Pinot Noir lives in Burgundy until I tried old single vineyard Calera. These are epic wines. Red and dark fruit, rustic woods reminiscent of walking in Bois de Boloigne on a misty evening. Slight mushroom with wet tobacco and a whiff of fresh roasted coffee. I have not tried Calera post Josh Jenssen. Ryan and Mills are great vineyards too.

A very nice Pinot, but I’d hold for a few more years at least because the wine is still coming together. Potentially an outstanding wine in the future. Medium to full bodied (too much weight?), sappy dark red fruit / black cherries and some earth.

カリフォルニアで当たり年と言われてるらしい2012年。今回のは甘めに感じられた。
自分にとってはいつ飲んでも美味しいと思う数少ないピノ。

Cherry candy on the nose, under-ripe cherry on the palate. Balanced acid and tannin. Spice box that will mature over time. Dark in color due to drought. Still great and needs a lot of time in order to be amazing.
