Central Coast Chardonnay

not usually a fan of oaked Chardonnay, but thos was quite nice

First taste from recent case purchase. We are going to enjoy this one!

These were lovely yet a little more California in style than their roommates. Perhaps it was the dominance of the Sonoma Coast that's throwing me for a loop.

Balanced. Food friendly! Hard to beat.

Opened on 10/30/2013, it's a low price Chardonnay, about $20. Nothing extraordinary but absolutely nothing bad about it. I enjoyed it a lot.

Yesterday evening I decided to drink a 2011 Calera Chardonnay Central Coast. I was in a "New World" state of mind last night, preferably Chardonnay, lol !So I said to myself, why not go for something I have never tried before? I have never had anything from Calera, so it definitely drew my attention. Some facts about the Calera: this wine is made from grapes sourced from several different vineyards throughout the Central Coast, with an alcohol percentage of about(you feel it, lol) 14.6%. Overall this wine is some decent Chardonnay.

濃いめのシャルドネ。

Semi sweet dry but good w cheese and meat tray. Excellent undertones.
