Right Bank Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Monthly WTF wine night with a theme of “something to impress”. As always, wines were tasted blind.

This was super unique...and I loved the stubby bottle! Another wine tough to call blind as this is a big blend of quite a few grapes. I guessed it was a field blend dominant of zin and Mourvèdre. This was spice driven aromatically (black pepper, rhubarb tart) but more rich on the palate (baked plum, sandalwood). Very lifted and balanced. Thanks, @Ryan G .

Classic Napa, cassis and lovely oak

This is just the perfect amount of jammyness with out sending u down a flavor path of sweetness and berries. Dryness is on point as well as a gorgeous finish.

Smooth with a cassis velvet finish. Decanter for an even better wine! Delicious!
