Easily in the top 5 Pinot Noir wines I have ever had. Incredibly smooth on the initial palette. The flavor gently comes together as you swallow and then the intensity of the fruit comes through. It is a very unique Pinot with a bit more fruity flavor than most, but Calcareous has infused the typical smooth earthy tone throughout the experience. P.S. This wine definitely fits the profile for the Paso Robles region and Calcareous' rock terroir.
