This wine is a gem. First of all, I’ve yet to meet a Calcareous York Mountain Pinot that I haven’t liked. York Mt is generally a winner due to the colder temps. This vintage (or non-vintage blend of 2015 and 2016) is medium bodied, with the most beautiful bouquet and a smokiness on the palate that reminds me of a Kings Canyon campfire. I am crazy about this wine.
