Better than expected for the age. Needs a decant or ample time in the bottle as it got better with time. Medium gold color. Nose of lemon, cream, and even some brioche. Wine is biting and a little funky, probably past prime, but settles down while in the mouth for a bit. Medium finish.

Partial stainless and partial oak a difficult vintage in napa but Cakebread always delivers the goods if you like crisp clean finish. Excellent

Have one more of the 2011. It's an excellent chardonnay, so I bought a couple 2012 bottles. LOVE this chardonnay!
