NV13 Cain Cuvée Red Blend

Very very good. At Rococo. Blackberry, honey, a hint of vanilla.

8/2023. Good medium bodied red blend. Flavor is fruity and nice on the palate. Paired well with the lamb chops at Hall’s Chophouse.

Outstanding blend. Earthy notes, great nose.

Still a favorite. Lighter but great earth and depth of flavor.

Fascinating evolution. On opening very typical Napa floor flavors with cedar, dust, dark berries, a bit of chocolate. As it opened much more vegetables with green pepper, black peppercorn, cassis, cedar, cocoa powder, plums, and like a hint of dried apricot or other stone fruit. I really like this one.

Consistently great! Interesting to taste so close to the other vintages. Definitely a bit younger but still aged nicely.

Pretty solid blend - the green, vegetal notes of the Petite Verdot add an especially nice freshness to the rich dark fruits.

Says nonvintage 13 but is a 2012- easy drinking blend, tastes great chilled
