Pergolaia Toscana Sangiovese Blend

Clear dark ruby garnet. Nose and medium palate of black cherry, licorice, and Earl Grey tea. Fine, medium plus tannins and medium plus acidity. A “super” Tuscan indeed, ready for the full range of Italian, American, and Italian-American fare. And this is Caiarossa’s entry level. Drink now through 2024.

My third bottle, no wrong in this bouquet whatsoever....excellent pairing with any Italian or carne.

Decent Sangiovese blend. Some bold grape characteristics but less than a Cabernet. Lighter and more fruit forward. #recommended for wines around $20.00

Yummy super Tuscan blend. Nice fruit but a bit thin in the finish. For an off year, this is good. Can’t wait to try the others.

Very good. Not sure where we bought this but it was a nice surprise when we opened it.
