Wonderful fruit. Balanced!!

Wine was hard to nail down.

So this is actually a Tempranillo and so far it is my absolute favorite from Maynard and Caduceus. Absolutely well balanced.

The 2013 is much better than this 2012. Still very drinkable but not nearly as complex.

Here she is. Sweet dark cherries. Full mouth feel. Tannins are smooth. Paired perfectly with the tri tip.

I felt in love with this great wine years ago, in Jerome. Finally I came back here to taste it again, in his (her...) hometown. Grazie.
