As the wine has aged it has gained a brassy color on the rim, yet still a beautiful deep purple color. I don't know what I'm smelling other than greatness. Beautiful fruit and earth on the nose. Amazing on the palate. Certainly worth every penny. Scored a great deal on this. Worth twice what I paid.

Nose of plums and just a few black olives. Nice fruit and subtle tannins on the palate. Nicely complex. Really enjoyed this with a filet.

Uncorked several hours before drinking, the wine opened up nicely in the glass and was deep and full of fruit. Great bottle.
