Tenuta La Volta Vigna La Volta Barolo Nebbiolo
Rock solid Barolo at a perfect age and place. Delicate and layered. Pretty dark red flowers and black tea. Sour, dark red cherry. Lovely dry tail. Nice.

Jul 22nd, 2020Had several bottles of this wine. Dinner with great friends gathered in Denver -- at Panzano's. Wine was wonderful. Friends trumped even that! B

There is no non-sense here, the wine is produced with full respect of the tradition and history that barolo carried with him through the centuries. The nose is dominated by berries jam, tobacco and pepper. Very soft on the palate, a surprise given the very hot summer the grapes experienced that year. My suggestion is to buy it as much as you can, it's easy to end up opening more bottles than what initially expected
