This delicious Lugana is from the region in which we are staying; we will be visiting this winery tomorrow! The wine, mostly Turbiana grapes made in the idiosyncratic Lake Garda style, is superbly balanced. There are citric lemon-lime flavors with a touch of jicama and pear, and some mild spice to the finish. The style is dry and light. It’s like a New Zealand SB without the grassy tones.

Had this while in Italy last summer and loved it. SB fans gives this a try . Grapefruit peach passion fruit blossoms lemon zest great acidity all in balance.
