Delicious! Fuller than other Luganas I’ve had But balanced with nice acidity. Kiwi and distinct herbal notes on the nose.

This delicious Lugana is from the region in which we are staying; we will be visiting this winery tomorrow! The wine, mostly Turbiana grapes made in the idiosyncratic Lake Garda style, is superbly balanced. There are citric lemon-lime flavors with a touch of jicama and pear, and some mild spice to the finish. The style is dry and light. It’s like a New Zealand SB without the grassy tones.

A must try if you never had a Lugana, you will not be disappointed. Made with 100% Turbiana grapes. Lugana can be consumed young or aged for a few years gaining some mineral tones and elegance. Light straw yellow color, with rich ripe stone fruit and floral aromas. On the palate flavors of ripe apricot, pear, peach and citrus wrapped in balanced acidity on a long finish ending with fruit and mineral character. Nice value. Buy 2 and put one aside for a few years!

Struck match aroma with a sea air and citrus oil scent behind it. In the mouth. Silky flavors of lemon and a touch of pear are salty and utterly mouthwatering thanks to fantastic acidity.

100% Turbiano from Lugana DOC. Riesling and Albariño fans will love the ripping acidity and kinetic drive on the palate. Smoky flint aromas are quite reminiscent of Sancerre. The most fun wine in today’s tasting, and also one of the best. Incredible value, especially seeing how well these wines age.

My first from this region, the marZipan & saltiness quite refined. Even the bottle is elegant-weighty, ornate. Light medium in weight
