Oaky. Medium intensity. Closed in the beginning but opened up later. Very round w/ citrus zest & mineral finish. Great acidity, rich in flavor. Hand-picked, natural fermentation at cool temp for 1-2 mo, small amount of stirring to start MLF. The wine is racked, fined & lightly filtered before bottling 11 mo after picking. Geelong is located in the Port Phillip zone of Victoria. Chardonnay is 1 of the region's most regarded. I only tasted a glass & didn’t have time to explore the wine so need to revisit. Rating 3,8/5
