Buty
Conner Lee Vineyard Chardonnay
Pleasant floral and creamy aromas. Spicy baked apples, toasted coconut, and lime rind. Finish reminiscent of cheese rinds.

Apr 4th, 2015Too cold and a bit tight, but eventually eeked out some baked apple, mango, and toasted coconut. Plenty of tropical fruit flavors. Always a consistent and reliable WA Chardonnay.

Dec 30th, 2013Fantastic wine paired with roasted quail. Still had lots of flavor left even though it was about halfway up the cork. Will miss this winery.

Dec 26th, 2022Wow did this one age well. Layers of flavor still. Time to drink though, wine was almost all the way up the cork.

Oct 6th, 20228 years young and stunning, this Walla-Walla Chardonnay from the now shuttered Buty Winery was worth the wait. Enveloped in warm apple cobbler and toasted bread the scent flows right into a full mouth of American Chard delight. Light on new oak (a noted characteristic of Washington Chards) this delicious wine hits every point spot-on for me. The mint and lime finish carries on the flavor well, too. I’m going to miss the selections from Buty. They remain a solid favorite.
