Sorenson's Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon

More typical of an older school Napa Cab, missing the structure of the Howell Mountain cuvees. Currants, cherry, Cassis, toasty mocha oak.

Classic and classy with a touch of Brett. Could be a decent right bank really. Maybe a tiny bit tired as well.

Love this one. Dark cherry nose. Velvety smooth from start to finish. Dark fruits and vanilla. Low tannins. Low acidity.

Plum, blackberry, cherry, black current, and vanilla on the nose. Very fruit forward with a palate that matches the nose exactly. Medium to light tannins. Tangy black current finish.

2018

2017: for a warm vintage, a little thin when it comes to palatal heft. Finish drops off quickly…but Dark fruit and dark chocolate are present with savory herb. It’s fine, not great.
