Bright acid, resolved tannins, silky, almost light texture, with dried blackberries, green olives, thyme, black pepper, and earthy spice. My first developed petite sirah, a real testament to the potential of this grape. I would have blinded this as a cab with age. And with carbonara? Perfect pairing.
