Jul 17th, 2019Blackberry, cherry kirsch and a bit grippy. This is one of those "goes with food" wines. Not hedonistic or intellectual but darn good with a bowl of chili.

May 6th, 2016Off the chain with all sorts of brambly fruit, spice, and savoriness! Bright acid, resolved tannins, silky, almost light texture, with dried blackberries, green olives, thyme, black pepper, and earthy spice. My first developed petite sirah, a real testament to the potential of this grape. I would have blinded this as a cab with age. And with carbonara? Perfect pairing.
