Very nice red blend. Good body to this. Would be a very good food wine.

It was good. Not great. There was somehow some left the third day. Tasted best then really.

After a few bad experiences with 2011s, I've had a few good ones. Either the wines from that vintage are improving as they mellow or it's inter-producer variability. Quality wine in the $30 range. Cabernet, syrah, merlot.

I enjoyed this bottle. Give it some time to open up and you'll get some spices added to the typical California fruit-forward red wine.

Nothing technically wrong but stylistically this is everything I hate in California wine. Sweet dumb fruit with not much else to back it uo. Short finish. 52% Cabernet Sauvignon, 22% Syrah, 11% Merlot, 15% Malbec. Spend your $50 elswhere.

Comped sample.

Despite 2011 apparently being quite a challenging vintage for Napa winemakers, This has turned out spectacularly. Right now it still needs a 2 hour decant to fully open up, but it's well worth the wait. I'm sure this one will age beautifully in the bottle over the next 4-5 years.
