Nov 1st, 2017Perfect not dry nor bitter definitely taste chocolate berry notes. Not too fruity nor too sweet which is great!

Jan 23rd, 2016Wow! Very smooth...fruit forward nose with a hint of astringency which is very well rounded off with a thick cough syrup (almost Syrah like), mouth feel, notes of raisin chocolate, cherry, sharp cheese (pecorino?) and a dry, lightly tannic finish that lasts for minutes. Very nice.

Dec 12th, 2014Liked it so much I made it my wedding wine. Got rave reviews across the board! Seriously one of my favorites.

Jan 17th, 2014Big, inky purple wine isn't normally my thing. This is very nicely balanced with no overt oak (all 1 & 2 years), and it's cheap. So I have a better opinion of this than most, but dense, ripe cab is still dense, ripe cab. Not likely to have a place at my table.
