88% Zinfandel, 9% Petite Sirah, 3% Mission. Don’t usually drink California Zinfandels but the blend caught my eye. It’s a very nice fruity wine with notes of cherry on the palate.

As much as the Z in the name gave me pause, I’m glad I didn’t judge this book by its’ label! Medium-bodied and drinkable with peppery notes.
