Buena vista is always reliable Carneros Pinot Noir, and this bottle is no exception. It has the dark cherry with slight smoke flavor that you associate with Carneros and a little bit more acid than most wines from that region, but still very California.

Enjoyed without aeration. Light refreshing hint of oak, apricot, and cocoa on the nose. Thin texture and very low levels of tannin. Delicate wine with a just a touch of spice. Toasted waffles on the exhale after consumption. I definitely recommend salty foods over sweet to contrast against the light flavors of this wine if pairing with food. The flavors open up at room temperature, and honestly, I enjoyed this wine at room temperature more than chilled.
