Just shy of jet black in the glass. Nose billows with mint, herbs, and wet dirt. Fuller than full bodied like their cabs with bright fruit, big acidity, and a wet fine grit sand paper tannic finish. Zero green on the palate. The best merlot I can remember having. Killer now I'm sure even better in the future.

Better on day 2 after forgetting to put the cork in overnight. Still opulent as a MF, but some of lush burns off and gets replaced by a decent amount of earth (for Buccella anyway).
